Job Description
Duty Manager-North Queensland-Coastal Location
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy property located in coastal north Queensland.
The role would suit a candidate with excellent management experience in gaming, food & beverage and retail previous experience in all areas of Pub Operations.
Overlooking the water, the hotel operates 7 days per week and features Live music, bar, bistro, bottle shop and gaming.
The town offers beautiful weather, fantastic fishing and a friendly welcoming community.
Package: (Fulltime Award Rate-Level 5)Â
- Monday-Friday $28.87
- Saturday $36.09
- Sunday $43.31
- + Overtime rates after 38 hours
OR
- Salary of $71,350 Neg
- Accommodation $150 per week – Own room in shared staff house
Duties:
- General shift supervision
- Staff supervision and training
- Hands on across all areas of the property
- All aspects of gaming, pokies, TAB and keno payouts and compliance
- General administration duties-daily counting and balancing of tills, cash ups
- General open / closes
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience with gaming, food & beverage and retail
- Must have current drivers licence and vehicle as staff accommodation offsite
- Previous experience in all areas of Pub Operations
- Hold a current RMLV & QLD Approved Managers or be able to obtain
- Hold or be able to obtain a current police clearance
