Head Chef-Remote Coastal Queensland
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef for this busy coastal venue located remotely in the Gulf of Queensland.
Ideally seeking a long term commitment, the successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team of chefs, prepping and cooking a seafood focused bistro menu whilst managing the kitchen in a hands on capacity
The kitchen caters to a large amount of tourists during the winter and to the locals during the summer, open for lunch and dinner 7 days per week.
If you love fishing, this is the ideal destination with local fishing and access to deep sea fishing charters. The sunsets are amazing and the weather is warm all year round.
Accommodation is provided free of charge making it an excellent location to save heaps of money.
The company own and operate numerous venues, with career advancement opportunities available.

Package:
- $80,000-$85,000
- Accommodation Provided
Duties:
- Management of the kitchen in a hands on capacity
- Stock control and stock ordering
- Preparation and cooking of bistro style meals
- Supervise junior chefs
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Work as part of the team
- Menu planning
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Ideally seeking a long term commitment
- Able to work in a remote location
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Able to work as part of a team
